iPhone 6s Plus. At first I pointed people to our FAQ and then our
NYC video review. But it seemed, inevitably, I'd start listing out the major changes in short, punchy, list form and that's when people got it. When they realized, beyond the shape, how much really had changed. So, for the benefit of everyone with friends, family, and classmates, and colleagues still asking, here's the short, punchy list!</p> <!--break--> <ul><li>7000 series aluminium casing</li> <li>2x ion-exchange glass</li> <li>Rose gold color option</li> <li>3D Touch display</li> <li>Taptic engine</li> <li>Apple A9 chipset</li> <li>M9 (integrated) coprocessor</li> <li>LTE Advanced up to 300 Mbps</li> <li>MIMO Wi-Fi up to 866 Mbps</li> <li>Second generation Touch ID</li> <li>12 megapixel rear camera</li> <li>5 megapixel front camera</li> <li>63 megapixel panorama</li> <li>4K video</li> <li>Optical image stabilization for video (iPhone 6s Plus only)</li> <li>1080p slow motion video at 120 fps</li> <li>Playback zoom</li> <li>Retina flash</li> <li>Hey Siri unplugged</li> </ul><p>So, the casing, the glass, the processor and coprocessor, the Wi-Fi and cellular radios, the iSight camera, the FaceTime camera, the Touch ID sensor, and multi-touch got multi-press—pretty much the majority of the device—all new.</p> <p>Apple must have realized communicating the differences of the S-models was tricky, because their tag line the popular misconceptions perfectly: "the only thing that changed is everything". It points out that, while the overall design might look the same, they've once again rebuilt much of it from the atoms on up.</p> <p>And if any of those changes appeal to you, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will appeal to you.</p> <p>
