<div class="field field-name-body field-type-text-with-summary field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even" property="content:encoded"><p><a href='http://www.imore.com/bowers-wilkins-latest-zeppelin-speaker-goes-wireless-adds-support-airplay' title="Bowers &amp; Wilkins' latest Zeppelin speaker goes wireless, adds support for AirPlay"><img src='?itok=-7sMXOx-' /></p> <p>Bowers &amp; Wilkins has launched a new Zeppelin speaker, eschewing the physical Lightning connector for wireless streaming through AirPlay. The Zeppelin Wireless retains the football-esque shape as earlier models in the series, offering Bluetooth AptX and Spotify Connect connectivity. Bowers &amp; Wilkins mentions that while the design has remained intact, every element has been redesigned to provide the most immersive soundstage "possible from a single speaker system."</p> <!--break--> <p><a href='http://www.imore.com/bowers-wilkins-latest-zeppelin-speaker-goes-wireless-adds-support-airplay' title="Bowers &amp; Wilkins' latest Zeppelin speaker goes wireless, adds support for AirPlay"><img src='?itok=GXYe-FP5' /></p> <p>The speaker features a 6-inch subwoofer with an "ultra long-throw voice coil" that delivers detailed, accurate bass, along with two 25mm double-dome tweeters and two 90mm mid-range drivers, all housed in a retooled vibration-free cabinet reinforced with fiberglass. The new digital signal processor, which is twice as powerful as its predecessor, converts all audio to 192kHz/24bit, delivering an enhanced dynamic range and greater clarity.</p> <p>You'll also be able to set up, control the volume and music playback, and manage the settings on the speaker with the <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/bowers-wilkins-airplay-setup/id506471253?mt=8&amp;at=10l3Vy&amp;ct=d_im" title="" rel="nofollow">Bowers &amp; Wilkins Control app. For those interested in plugging in, the speaker offers a 3.5mm audio jack.</p> <p>The Zeppelin Wireless costs £499 in the UK, and $699 in the US. The speaker is available for purchase online, and will be heading to store shelves starting October 15.</p> <p><a href="http://www.bowers-wilkins.co.uk/Wireless-Speakers/Wireless-Speakers/Zeppelin-Wireless/product-details.html" title="" class="cta shop">Bowers &amp; Wilkins Zeppelin Wireless (£499)</p> <p><a href="http://www.bowers-wilkins.com/Wireless-Speakers/Wireless-Speakers/Zeppelin-Wireless/product-details.html#shop" title="" class="cta shop">Bowers &amp; Wilkins Zeppelin Wireless ($699)</p> </div></div></div><br clear='all'/>
