New York and San Francisco Apple Stores promote 3D Touch with interactive tables

<div class="field field-name-body field-type-text-with-summary field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even" property="content:encoded"><div class="video"><div class="video_iframe"><iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/RmprLUlemug?rel=0&amp;autoplay=0&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;controls=2&amp;autohide=1&amp;showinfo=0" width="627" height="353" class="video-filter video-youtube vf-rmprlulemug" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe></div></div> <!--/video--> <p>Two of Apple's flagship stores — one in New York, and the other in San Francisco — have been equipped with a new way to promote 3D Touch on the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. Shoppers in those stores will find tables fitted with large displays that react to 3D Touch on iPhone demo units. <!--break--></p> <p>As seen in the video above, provided by Grate App on YouTube, the large table displays feature a water ripple effect when users interact with fish floating around on the iPhone demo units. Shoppers can flick a finger across the screen of press down, at which point the fish on the screen will dart off, and you can see ripples fan out from the phone.</p> <p>Overall, it's a pretty neat tool that shows off 3D Touch in a cool way, and it'll be interesting to see if these tables make their way to other Apple Stores outside of these two locations.</p> <p>Source: Grate App (YouTube); Via: 9to5Mac</p> </div></div></div><br clear='all'/>
