Apple reportedly building app to help speed up iPhone and iPad repairs

Apple is reportedly working on a new app to help streamline the repair and support process for its devices. Apparently, the app will ask customers questions about their device in order to narrow down the cause of the device's issues. The app is then supposed to help them book service at an Apple Store, direct them to send it in for service, or give a call to Apple, depending on the customer's needs. According to uSwitch, which also allegedly obtained screenshots of the app, it will also feature a number of troubleshooting guides for customers to follow themselves if they choose. The app also includes Apple's official guides to fixing common problems, so you have a tilt at tackling your issue yourself. And there's a smattering of basic 'how-tos' too. The app is also said to be tied to your Apple ID, listing all of your devices as options for troubleshooting and repair. Source: uSwitch ...<br clear='all'/>
