Periscope streams will soon be integrated into the official Twitter app for iPhone and iPad

Twitter has announced plans to roll out an update for the official iPhone and iPad app shortly that will implement support for viewing Periscope streams. This will mean you'll no longer be required to have more than one app installed to enjoy the same level of functionality. Periscope streams will shortly join both GIFs and Vines. Fear not if you miss a stream you were dying to catch when on the move as the Twitter app will show replays that will autoplay when you view the original tweet. These videos can be viewed in full screen too. It's believed adding said functionality will help out broadcasters: "For broadcasters, this means you can reach the massive Twitter audience. And for everyone on Twitter, there's now a richer experience in your home timeline, search results, and on anyone's profile who's shared a Periscope." As aforementioned, this update will hit the App Store in the coming days. Those on Android will also receive similar features in a future update. Source: Tw...<br clear='all'/>
