Apple is recalling power adapters for Macs and some iOS devices in select countriesApple has announced the company is recalling AC wall power adapters for Macs and select iOS devices in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Europe, New Zealand and South Korea. It's reported that there's a small risk the two-prong adapters may break apart, leading to a potential electric shock for the owner. Affected adapters were shipped with Macs and certain iOS hardware between 2003 to 2015, and were also bundled in the World Travel Adapter Kit, making it quite the recall. Apple states in the official announcement that so far a total of 12 incidents have been reported. It's urged that all customers who own said affected adapters cease using them immediately and visit the Apple website for details on how to exchange them for new, redesigned models.
