Piezo improves application audio recording, exits the Mac App StoreRogue Amoeba, which develops a number of audio-focused apps for the mac, has updated its audio recording app, Piezo, to version 1.5. This update adds support for the Instant On extra, which allows Piezo to record audio from appliations that are already running. The company also announced that it will be removing Piezo from the Mac App Store, relying instead solely on direct purchases. Customers who purchased Piezo from the Mac App Store will need to migrate over to the direct version to receive updates, including the update to version 1.5. The process is free, and only needs to be done once. When you download Piezo 1.5 directly from Rogue Amoeba and open the app, you'll be shown a note on the change if you're a Mac App Store customer. Follow the on-screen directions to obtain your free license key, enter it into the app, and you're set.
