Apple extends its repair program for MacBook Pros with video issues

Apple has extended its repair program extension for MacBook Pros with video issues. Originally set to expire next week, or three years after the initial date of purchase for a particular machine, the program will now expire on December 31, 2016, or four years after purchase, whichever gives a user longer coverage. The program was announced a year ago, and targets 15- and 17-inch MacBook Pro models sold between February 2011 and December 2013. These models may experience issues with their video hardware, including distorted video, no video, or unexpected restarts. Affected Macs can be repaired either by Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider. Source: Apple; Via: MacRumors ...<br clear='all'/>
