Brand new to this, need a bit of help

I just started looking into getting OSX up on one of my two computers and have decided to put it on my laptop.

I'm quite new to the Hackintosh thing and would like some help, I've dug up some guides, each of which are different, but look like they would work.

The big question I have is is will I be able to put OSX on my laptop. It's a Dell XPS m1730. I'm probably not looking hard enough for the mother-board specs, but I can't seem to find them to see if it is supported or not.
