It's reported that executives from a variety of companies, including Apple, Twitter, Snapchat, Facebook and MTV met at the Justice Department on Wednesday. It's interesting to note Apple's attendance considering the company is currently locked in a battle against the FBI. CNN reports that around fifty technology companies and groups attended the meeting, as well as U.S. government agencies and even the British embassy. "The agenda showed sessions dedicated to briefing the technology companies on ISIS's messaging strategy, and developing plans to counteract the terrorist propaganda with counter-narratives and optimistic messaging. The administration has attempted to ramp up its counter-ISIS messaging in recent weeks.
