AT&T All But Confirms New iPhone in June
AT&T's cat came close to escaping its bag-bound imprisonment today
during the company's quarterly earning conference call. Did we mention
the frisky feline is named "iPhone"? Yeah, we agree. Strange name. According to Electronista, the telecom giant was as subtle as a sledgehammer in responding to questions concerning the possibility of an iPhone refresh this June. While not confirming that a new Apple handset was set to drop (and at this point, why would they bother?) representatives from the company metioned that the hardware refresh they were excited about would be available by the end of the company's ongoing quarter, which is set to end in June.With a late June WWDC unveiling of the iPhone 4G looking very likely, not to mention AT&T's forbidding June holidays for their employees this year, you could be blind and still successfully read between the lines on this one.
