The latest Pokémon Go update adds some commonly requested fixes

The latest version of Pokémon Go is live and here's what's changed.

What you need to know


The latest Pokémon Go update removes the ability to accidentally delete Super Rocket Radars.
This update also allows for Team Go Rocket parties to be saved.
The update appears to have broken a search feature for some players.


Niantic announced on Twitter today that the latest version of Pokémon Go, Version 163.0 is now live. This version made some relatively small, but commonly requested fixes, but it also appears to have broken the search feature. The first change brought about with version 163.0 is protection against accidentally deleting Super Rocket Radars. Now, players won't have to worry about accidentally throwing away an item that requires beating 18 Team Go Rocket Grunts and all three Team Go Rocket Executives to create. Hopefully, not too many people accidentally lost theirs prior to this update! Another change is that the game will now save your battle party ...
