What you need to know
The Tricky Pokémon event will run from midnight on April 1 to 11:59 p.m. on the same day.
Special Team Rocket GO Timed Research will be available, with the prize of a Super Rocket Radar.
Ditto will also be spawning more often, with a new disguise in the form of Purrloin.
Niantic has announced on their blog that there will be a special April Fool's Day event in Pokémon GO that's surrounded by mischief. For 24 hours on April 1, Pokémon who love pranks will be taking over the game, including Croagunk, Purrloin and Aipom. Shadow Aipom will be available for capture when battling Team Rocket GO grunts, who will be appearing more often in balloons and at Pokéstops.
For one week, from April 1 to April 8, some Team Rocket GO Timed Research will be available. Players who complete this research before the end of that week will be granted a Super Rocket Radar, which can be used to summon Giovanni. This item ...
