Cornelius Smith Jr. joins upcoming Apple TV+ series 'Five Days at Memorial'

The cast for Five Days at Memorial is growing fast.

What you need to know


Cornelius Smith Jr. has signed on to star in the upcoming Apple TV+ drama Five Days at Memorial.
The actor will join Vera Farmiga and Adepero Oduye who have already signed on for the project.


Five Days at Memorial, the upcoming Hurricane Katrina series on Apple TV+, has signed on another cast member.

According to Deadline, Cornelius Smith Jr. will join Vera Farmiga and Adepero Oduye in the limited series that is helmed by John Ridley and Carlton Cuse.


  Written by Ridley and Cuse based on the acclaimed nonfiction book by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Sheri Fink, Five Days at Memorial chronicles the first five days in a New Orleans hospital after Hurricane Katrina made landfall. When the floodwaters rose, the power failed and the heat climbed, exhausted caregivers were forced to make life-and-death decisions that haunted them for years to come.
