An Apple II manual signed by Steve Jobs has sold at auction for $787,484, with the winning bid coming from non-other than Jim Irsay, owner of the Indianapolis Colts.

The manual, inscribed and signed by Jobs in 1980, was the highest ticket item in a sale of Jobs memorabilia hosted by RR Auction. The 196-page guide features all the architecture and operation instructions for the Apple II, as well as a fold-out schematic of the device's logic board. Jobs signed the manual whilst in the UK with Apple's second CEO Mike Markkula.
