Nokia Sues Apple--Again
Apple's 3G iPad and iPhone are in Nokia's cross hairs this week, as the Finnish celluar powerhouse gears up to sling legal poo at Apple for the second time this year. This time around, Nokia's gotten it into their heads that Cupertino's infringed on five of their patents for some pretty important tech, including advanced antenna designs, how devices send data, and how location services are used inside of applications.According to electronista, Nokia's Patent Licensing General Manager Paul Melin is none too pleased with Apple, and was quoted as saying:Nokia has been the leading developer of many key technologies in mobile devices. We have taken this step to protect the results of our pioneering development and to put an end to continued unlawful use of Nokia's innovation.Oh yeah. With smack-talk like that, you just know there's gonna be a slap-fight out by the flagpole at three. We'll keep you posted on how this one pans out.
