Apple Adopting Wait And Watch Approach Towards Mobile Payments
The Wall Street Journal published an article detailing Apple’s approach towards mobile payments, an area that has generated a considerable amount of buzz, both due to the emergence of NFC hardware and the need to disrupt the current payments model.
Microsoft, Google and a joint consortium of carriers are all trying their hand at developing a mobile payment solution through digital wallets, none of those services have however caught on with merchants or consumers. (Microsoft’s digital wallet service would be introduced alongside Windows Phone 8, which hasn’t released publicly.)
