Every single time I connect my iphone to my computer and then start itunes it freezes. (Uses 100% CPU forever, have left it on over night etc) Or if I already have itunes running and connect the iphone it freezes.

When I connect the phone in restore mode it works perfectly and I can restore (or restore + update) but i am unable to sync or do normal update.

Since iTunes could not sync iphone with win vista 64-bit that I use I had to set up WinXP Home with SP2 with WVware. The system works perfectly and I have tried to format it three different times, with the same result.

Have tried to reinstall itunes like 200 times, a lot of different versions, latest of course also.

I am unable to add videos/songs to my phone because of this, please help me!

Hey, you are sol.
#1. Apple's ancillary services does not tun on 64Bit Windows. and
#2. VMWare does not emulate usb 100% under 64bit!

It is syncserver.exe that is eating up the cpu- showing as iTunes spinning.

My friend was up all night last night trying to install Osx86 on external usb drive just to upgrade and sync his iPhone on 64bit machine!

1.1.1 upgrade connects slightly differently, so you might have a better luck. Use someone else's machine to upgrade to 1.1.1

Good luck.
