iTunes 11 To Get Duplicate Song Detection, Cover Flow Unlikely
Apple’s newest iTunes release sports a whole new design, which gets rid of the excessive bloat accumulated through the years, adds new features as well as axes a few of them. Two of the most notable of these axed features are duplicate song detection and Cover flow.
AllThingsD’s Walt Mossberg, in his review of iTunes 11, notes that duplicate song detection will soon be added back to iTunes through a minor update, while Cover Flow has been removed for good.
