A photo app returns to the App Store, now squeaky clean; the back of the next iPad may have been spotted; and Apple is apparently no longer that company you once knew and trusted. The remainders for Tuesday, January 29, 2013 don’t even know who you are anymore.


500px Returns To The iOS App Store, With Mature Content Warning And Photo Reporting Button (TechCrunch)


500px, the photo-sharing app that was removed from the App Store earlier this month because of the ease of finding adult content, is back in action. The company worked closely with Apple to bring the app back; all it had to do was add a mature content warning, a button for reporting inappropriate pictures, and a filter that blurs every single picture in the entire application. Including the interface. It’s basically just a big smudge of an app now.
