Apple, Amazon end lawsuit over right to use the “App Store” term
Reuters reports that Amazon and Apple have together agreed to end their lawsuit over the right to use the “App Store” term to describe digital stores that sold applications. The lawsuit, filed in March 2011, was dismissed earlier this year after Amazon argued that Tim Cook and Steve Jobs both used the term in a generic manner to describe competing stores.
