Dropbox announces platform to let developers sync app data, ventures into iCloud territory
At its first ever developer conference, Dropbox today announced a new platform for developers to sync app data across multiple devices. While a lot of apps already include Dropbox as a way to sync files, Dropbox’s new “Datastore API” natively handles structured data like settings, contacts, lists etc.
