Apple expands ‘USB Power Adapter Takeback Program’ to more countries
In light of a Chinese woman’s death and recent controversy over the safety of counterfeit power adapters, Apple had launched a “USB Power Adapter Takeback Program” last week offering customers Apple-branded USB power adapter at a special price of $10 when they turn in at least one third-party USB power adapter.
Apple had launched the program only in the U.S. and China.
