Hi

As far as my knowledge goes, I doubt anything can be done after upgrading the firmware......But I am sure there must be some remedy out there. If I come across surely let you know.......

At most I can suggest you ( I am no tech guru.....but know few things about tech )

a) try unlocking again....the whole process
b) try putting in the original sim card it takes, activate it and see....and then try unlocking it again....
c) there must be a reset button ( usually when you connect ipod to itunes, there is a reset option in itunes too)
so reset the machine......and then try ur unlocking thing again....

I can understand ur situation.Little off topic here but, I had just bought Creative Zen Vision W ( 20 days ago from HK ) which works with Windows only, but I tried it on Mac with some stupid software called XNJB ( which is supposed to make creative mp3's, PMP etc... sync with mac ). And now it JUST won't sync with Windows. Thankfully I can put in videos and photos thru compact flash option, but nt music......

anyways lemme know

all the best
