Setting the mobile device owner back $34.99, the protection+ case is compatible with both the
iPhone 5S and
Samsung Galaxy S5, utilizing its hardened polycarbonate shell and impact-resistant polymers on the corners.

Just in case (pun intended) that isn't enough for your day-to-day use, the protection+ has an extra shock-absorbing rubber layer located directly behind the shell itself. Since smartphones can take quite the beating when used out and about, cases like the new Logitech protection+ are released to help prolong the life of these important devices. Another neat point is how the case doesn't make the iPhone 5S or Samsung Galaxy S5 look ugly, there's at least some styling to the product.

Logitech also notes that a compatible smartphone using the case can be safely dropped from heights up to 1.8 meters without being damaged. The protection+ case is compatible with +trip ($29.99) and +drive ($49.99), the former being a mount that attaches the phone to a vehicle air vent, while the +drive sticks the phone to the windscreen.

Look out for the protection+ when it launches in the US and Europe next month.

Source:
