Since assembling a Snow Leopard Hackintosh on a Dell Mini 10v, I have found it crashes to a kernel panic screen, and restarts to the same, whenever I have permitted the offered Mac OS X Snow Leopard updates to load.

I have noticed no mention of this problem from others in the Forum.

My solution so far is to keep my 8 GB USB drive handy, and merely reformat the hard drive and reload Snow Leopard.  Rather a waste of time, but it works.

For the last month I have not permitted Snow Leopard updates, and all has been well.  Today I mistakenly said yes to an update, and got the kernel panic screen.

Any easy fixes, step-arounds?   Or should I just avoid OS updates (or go to Ubuntu for my operating system?)

Thank you.
