CarPlay automotive integration is finally hitting the market, and it just so happens to have a V12 engine and cost $300,000. Yeah, the first CarPlay vehicle is the 2015 Ferrari FF. But in addition to Apple's in-car navigation, communication, and media suite you get a 6.3-liter V12 pumping out 651 horsepower and 504 lb-ft of torque good for a 0-to-60 time of 3.4 seconds and top speed of 208 miles per hour that will shove your head through the back of the headrest. Oh, and
Siri.

CarPlay was originally introduced as iOS in the Car with the announcement of
iOS 7 back in June of 2013. The system exports an automotive-specific interface to the car's center display, with iOS styling, large driving-friendly buttons, and
pared back options for safety's sake. CarPlay also leverage's the car's built-in audio system and microphones for issuing commands via Siri.

Ferrari may be the first manufacturer to ship with CarPlay, and it's certainly disappointing that it took well over a year for the first vehicle to support it to start shipping, but it's a hell of a car to be rolling off the assembling line in. And if Ferrari, a company that's not typically known for the quality of their in-car infotainment systems, can get CarPlay out on the road, then perhaps the other committed manufacturers (looking at you, <a href="
