Apple upgrading, giving partial refunds to legacy iCloud users

Customers will find themeselves upgraded to one of the new plans. For instance, anyone on the previously $40 per year 20GB plan will see that the price has been lowered to $11.99 per year for the same amount of storage while also receiving a partial refund, according to MacRumors:</p> <!--break-->
<p>Just a day after unveiling new pricing for iCloud, Apple has begun emailing existing iCloud subscribers to notify them that the company is upgrading their accounts to the new price points and will be refunding them the difference. However, users will be allowed to keep the same storage sizes.</p>
<p>If you upgrade to one of Apple's new plans from your current one, you won't be able to downgrade back to the older plan. Apple introduced it's new storage tiers and pricing yesterday with tiers at 5GB, 20GB, 200GB, 500GB, and 1TB.</p> <p>Have you upgraded your iCloud storage and will you?
